5 things I am obsessed with this week #1

 H a p p y  Monday  Babes!

Sun is finally out in Toronto, everybody is mad in love because a certain royal wedding got us all believing in happy endings again and I am feeling crazy inspired to create different content on here. You know it always happens in the spring/summer season for me, I go nuts and switch things up. I have been thinking about how to talk about things I love on a daily basis and as much as I love my #10happythings posts, there are always things that happen on the spot and that I forget to mention. So I decided to share 5 lifestyle things that I like on a weekly basis!

Darius has been telling me to watch Money Heist for months now and all I could say was “yeh yeh sure I will” with no actual intentions to ever watch it. In my head it didn’t have enough potential to keep me hooked, and god I was wrong. Money heist is basically the story of a group of misfits planning to rob the National Money Factory of Spain by locking in people for days. The show was probably all I never thought it would be: it made me feel so attached to every single one of the robbers and kept me up at night rooting for them to get away with millions of euros in their pockets. Definitely one of the best shows I have seen lately, make sure to check it out on Netflix if you want something new to bingewatch!

You already know that my magic formula to anything is a badass leather jacket. I have been super uninspired to dress up lately but colorful jackets really help me to keep things interesting. I am also terribly late to the cabbie hat/white boots party, so excuse me if I spam you with it in the next weeks.

I stumbled across this song while I was having a really bad day and it managed to somehow put me in a better place. Here is Shawn Mendes, giving me all the feels again. If you like Shawn as much as I do, you will also love “Youth” and “Lost in Japan”.

If ” The secret” and “the subtle art of not giving a F*ck” had a baby, it would be ” You are a Badass” by Jen Sincero. In this self-help book, Jen really talks about stuff you already know :”Do what you love”, “Know your worth”, “Stop bullshitting your reality with excuses” and ultimately “Love yourself”. You already know that, but this is the reminder you need to stop knowing and start doing. I am going to be honest, at first I thought it was bullshit until I caught myself giving pep talks to my friends about fighting for what they want. This Book definitely motivated me to be better at keeping a more positive mindest and be grateful for the present moment.

THE QUOTE: ” If You’re serious about changing your life, you’ll find a way. If you’re not, you will find an excuse.”

Not that I want to be a princess or anything, but that dress was perfect. So was the groom. So was the wedding. Dammit.

What did you think about the wedding?
