Changing seasons

As much as spring is my favorite season, it is also the most awkward one in my opinion. Whatevs we all know I like weird stuff anyway. It’s weird because you sight when you see people wearing socks with their slippers, then two hours later you struggle to walk under a late April snow storm. Yep, Karma is definitely a bitch.

Spring is that moment where you are so so done with all the sweaters, and Canada gooses, and boots and layers that you are ready to give up on them. The same goes to your thoughts and to yourself, it’s something that happens at the end of every single winter of my life.  Yet, when it comes to putting an outfit together (or truly putting anything else together) you end up crying because you have nothing to wear. I have learned by now that no, it’s not the case, my closet is full of little fragments of memories, I have plenty of stuff to wear and also to say. Spring is awkward because it is a transition to the warm days of summer, it’s a halfway until you are completely renewed.

On the way you wake up one day and you say: enough. Enough to putting yourself barriers that make you blame the change of seasons. Change is good and you got to stop being so afraid to experience it. I literally woke up like this: wanting to change everything because there is not a day I don’t feel changed. Sometimes for the good, sometimes for the bad.

This is  what I have been up to: working on the first step of the change as I always do. So here you have the blog  Persianbrunette 2.0, in a more magazine-ish layout because there is so many things I want to talk about like music, books, my inspirations as well as publishing more private parts of myself in a new category called “words”. All of this in a prettier packaging, something I have been thinking for a long time, a way I have  chosen to express my own personal change.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m pretty sure I will continue to cry my lack of clothes in my closet but oh well, those days I will be the good’ol Neguine with way too much black and sneakers. Oh. and with a tiny bit more of red lipstick obvs.

Lots of love always,

Neguine

Love this all black look and I know what you mean about spring being awkward. Yesterday morning it was raining so I wore a sweater, boots, and jacket but by the end of the day it was sunny and beautiful and I felt like a total idiot in winter clothes. Oh well, summer’s almost here xx

RIGHT??? It’s like so awful you start mixing winter and summer and it doesn’t look like anything. And I’m so frustrated because i feel like everything i put on is the same…. But oh well! Summer is indeed almost here! Love you babe
